Terry Redlin Decorative Collectibles

Perhaps it was a fluke that artist Terry Redlin was injured in a motor cycle accident. Terry Redlin's desires to become a forest ranger seemed to have diminished after his accident. Although he was injured, perhaps it was his injury that brought out his hidden talent for artistry.

Terry Redlin's artwork is truly something to admire. Terry has been a Master Artist for over 25 years. Every painting that Terry creates is reminiscent of his hometown of Watertown, South Dakota. The pictures are of children at barn dances, serene sunsets on the plains, and horse-drawn carriage rides in the winter snow. The pictures are truly special, and each painting tells a story that is unique and all its own. His paintings are well known all throughout America as being one of the most regarded painters of natural wildlife and Americana. The animals that he creates, such as deer, elk and pheasants, seem to take life form on the paintings and makes you a part of the picture you are seeing. For over twenty years now, Terry Redlin has created decorative collectors plates. The plates, first introduced in 1985, are depictions of the paintings that he has created. To date, there have been over 30 of the decorative plates that have been created. The rims of the plates are dipped in 22 karat gold, which makes the beautiful plates even more eye- appealing. Terry Redlin's prints are also available as calendars, music boxes, steins, keepsake ornaments, as well as other various items. Of course, his prints are also available for sale.

From 1992 to 1995, Terry Redlin created a serious of paintings called "America, The Beautiful". Each painting that was depicted was a line from the song, " America, The Beautiful." To date, this serious is one of the most beloved artistic pieces that Terry has created. Often sold in malls, online stores, and at the Redlin Art Center, Terry Redlin's prints and collectible items are guaranteed to warm the heart and bring smiles to millions of people.
