Let the Good Times Roll with Vintage Beer Clocks
It has often been said that time flies when you are having fun. For some
people, adding some happy "spirits" into the mix is a call for a great time.
One of the best ways that beer companies helped advertise their companies
were with beer clocks.
Beer clocks have been around for many years. Although most beer clocks are
often large, they are all different in shapes and colors. Some of the
original beer clocks had tin or metal die cuts cast around the clock. The
die cuts often had some sort of eye catching advertisement for the beer
company. Vintage beer clocks, such as a Piel's Beer clock from the 1950's,
can be seen for sale on the internet for $95.00. The Piel beer clock
is adorned with the beer company advertising characters, Bert and Harry.
Such vintage clocks for sale often come from popular bar and restaurant
establishments.
Other vintage beer clocks are adorned with bright fluorescent lights. These
lights were a sure fire way for anyone in a restaurant or bar to be able to
see the beer clock. The beer clock usually hung on a wall, either above a
dining table, behind the bar, or near an entryway. One of the most popular
vintage neon beer clocks come from Budweiser. Budweiser is very well known
for their advertising campaigns, with their clocks being one of them.
Vintage clocks can be found in many places. From pool halls, to collectors'
homes, vintage clocks have been around for a long time. Each vintage beer
clock is unique to the beer company that it is advertising. One thing is for
sure... vintage beer clocks have been around for quite some time, and are
only certain to bring many more years of happy memories for a longer time to
come.
